Junior league final Louth Dolphins 6/10/19

For the 5th consecutive year, swimmers aged 9-12 years from Louth Swimming Club have won the Lincolnshire League final, securing them a place in the Northern Regional Final.

Having triumphed over local teams including Lincoln Vulcans, Lincoln Trident, CADS, Scunthorpe and Grantham, on Sunday 6 October a jubilant coach full of supporters and swimmers made their way to John Charles Leisure Centre in Leeds to compete in the final against clubs from Leeds, Stockport Metro, Southport, Leamington Spa and Newcastle.

Junior Intercounty Competition 2019

Team Lincolnshire had a tough trip to Luton this year where, despite managing 3 victories we ended up in 8 th place. We were so close to the teams above us, so the end result seemed almost a bit harsh. However, the poolside atmosphere was excellent and the swimmers were a credit to their clubs, coaches and their parents. My thanks go to all the swimmers who competed, my team managers James and Vicky for their help and Bedfordshire ASA for organising the gala.

Louth Swimming Clubs Annual Biathlon

Sunday 28 July saw 54 swimmers from Louth Swimming Club compete in the Club’s 4th Annual Biathlon event. The event marks the end of the Club’s season before swimmers took a well-deserved break from training and competing. The numbers were slightly down from last year, as many members plan their annual holiday around the clubs 2-week summer break.

Louth ‘Dolphins’ Swimming 2019 ‘Sportsman’s Week Gala & presentation and activities day

The event is in effect a second club camps and embraces Louth history of holding Sportsman’s Week events (the club believes they are the only one still using the original trophies)

The swimming events ran like clockwork thanks to the Clubs Events organiser Charlotte Elliott-Wright and a superb team around her of official and poolside helpers (if you are not involved you have no idea of the work that goes into an event!)
