Charles Rogers Condolences
Dear Lincolnshire ASA colleagues,
I am writing to share the very sad news that our Head Coach, Charles Rogers, has passed away.
Although Charles had experienced a short period of illness, we had remained hopeful of his recovery, so his sudden passing has come as a shock to us all.
Charles was a true professional who gave an enormous amount to the sport. Through his work at the club he supported the development of swimmers at every stage, and his commitment, high standards, and dedication on poolside earned him the respect of many across the swimming community. His contribution to the sport and to the swimmers he coached will be long remembered.
I wanted to ensure that you were made aware of this sad news. We will of course share details of arrangements and a celebration of his life once these are known.
Kind regards,
James Bird
Chairman
Skegness Swimming Club
